Honeygrow to open new location in Doylestown. Here's what this fast-casual eatery offers

Honeygrow, a casual quick-service restaurant known for its stir-frys, salads and honeybars, is coming to Doylestown.

The company made the announcement in a press release Tuesday morning, stating a lease had been signed for a space within the Barn Plaza shopping center on South Easton Road in Doylestown Township.

Barn Plaza is currently home to Kohl’s, Pure Barre, Piccolo Trattoria, Gerhard’s Appliances, Mattress Firm, Club Pilates and AFC Urgent Care, among other shops.

The shopping center is undergoing a number of changes lately, including the ongoing construction of a new Whole Foods and a Barnes and Noble in the former Marshalls & HomeGoods space.

And last month, Brixmor Property Group, the leasing and development company which owns and operates the 237,681-square-foot shopping center, submitted a zoning hearing board application to the township with a proposed redevelopment plan for the former movie theater and Applebee’s sites.

A third hearing for the redevelopment plan is scheduled for Feb. 22, continued from December and January.

When will honeygrow open in Doylestown?

At this time, the Doylestown location is projected to open around the end of April or beginning of May, according to a honeygrow spokesperson.

What is honeygrow?

Honeygrow specializes in customizable stir-frys with freshly made noodles, fresh and hearty salads and its signature honeybars.

The company, which began with its first restaurant in Philadelphia in 2012, has grown to 40 additional locations across the northeast.

It made its Bucks County debut in June 2022 in Quakertown, before opening in Willow Grove the following month. Then last August, another honeygrow opened in Langhorne.

The new Doylestown location was announced alongside another opening in Fairfax, Virginia, as part of a continued growth trajectory for the brand, which has more than a dozen planned openings in the pipeline for 2024.

What’s on the menu at honeygrow?

Honeygrow offers a variety of stir-frys, including garlic butter chicken and red coconut curry; and salads, such as Asian sesame ginger and kale chicken Caesar. All their stir-frys and salads are customizable with plenty of vegan and gluten-free options available. Or you can opt to Create-Your-Own.

Guests can also choose from the Lifestyle menu, which offers dishes that are paleo, keto, vegan, high protein or meet Whole 30 standards. There is also a kids menu.

Finish off your meal with one of the signature honeybars, a sweet treat that comes in a variety of options, including apple pie and the brownie crumble. Customers can also create their own honeybar, choosing from a number of ingredients like yogurt, fresh fruit and chocolate chips.
