HoYoverse announces Honkai: Star Rail launch events in Singapore and Malaysia

Fans can take part in the events for free, happening at Bugis+, Bugis Junction and Plaza Singapura in Singapore and Sunway Velocity Mall in Kuala Lumpur.

Honkai: Star Rail developer HoYoverse has announced they will be hosting 'The Astral Express Global Tour'.

According to HoYo, these will be a series of offline events in Singapore, Malaysia, the Philippines, and other countries all across the world to celebrate the game's official launch on 26 April.

The Astral Express Global Tour's Singapore stop will be held in the Plaza Singapura Entrance, Bugis+, and Bugis Junction from 26 to 30 April. For more information on the Singapore stop, check here.

The Global Tour's Malaysia stop will be hosted in the Sunway Velocity Mall from 26 to 30 April. For more information on the Malaysia stop, check here.

Where else are the events being held?

Aside from the above countries, the Astral Express Global Tour will also feature stops in Hong Kong and Shanghai, China; Taipei, Taiwan; Tokyo, Japan; Seoul, South Korea; Bangkok, Thailand; Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam; Jakarta, Indonesia; New York, the United States; Moscow, Russia; Berlin, Germany; Paris, France; and Rio De Janeiro, Brazil.

The Astral Express Global Tour stops will feature multiple themed events, challenges, and games, which fans can participate in for free. Attendees can also get postcards, special tickets, local gifts, stickers, and various official Honkai: Star Rail merchandise.

Honkai: Star Rail is the latest upcoming title by Chinese developer HoYoverse, known for releasing the smash-hit fantasy RPG Genshin Impact. Honkai: Star Rail is the latest entry in HoYoverse's Honkai series, being the spiritual successor to Honkai Impact 3rd.

Ahead of its official launch on 26 April, over 10 million players have pre-registered for the game. That's double the initial pre-registration goal of 5 million set by HoYoverse back in February.

With 5 million pre-registrations reached by early March, all players who pre-registered will be given tons of rewards, including the 4-star character Serval and 20 Star Rail Passes, 50,000, credits, and the 'Trailblazer — Welcome' Avatar.
