In honor of Black History Month, here’s a list of events happening in SWFL

Black History month is an opportunity not just for Black people but everyone to honor and learn about the achievements of Black Americans.

Carter G. Woodson, the creator of Black History month, was a scholar whose dedication to celebrating the historic contributions of Black people led to the establishment of Black History Month, marked every February since 1976.
