Hook and Ladder restaurant at Buckeye Lake tops Fairfield County building permits

LANCASTER − The Fairfield County Regional Planning Commission Office issued a $2.2 million building permit last month for the Hook and Ladder Restaurant at 12200 Lancaster St. in Millersport to Knot a Restaurant LLC.

The business website said it is a retro restaurant coming to Buckeye Lake that was to have opened in the summer. The business's Facebook page says it is coming soon.

Paul Vellani is the applicant, but could not be reached for comment.

Other building permits include:

  • A permit for $381,44 to NRDesign for a shed addition at 310 Washington St. in Baltimore.

  • A permit for $271,892 to Tecta America for re-roofing project at Bob-Boyd Ford at 2840 Columbus St. NW in Lancaster.

  • A permit for $75,000 to VPL Architects for an addition at the Bremen Historical Society at 161 Carter St. in Bremen.

  • A permit for $30,000 to the Central Ohio Coon Hunters Association at 6995 Coonpath Road in Carroll. The project was not listed.

  • A permit for $15,300 to HSE Permit Solutions for a wall sign at Tim Hortons at 2053 Horns Mill Road in Lancaster.

  • A permit for $10,000 to Crown Castle for T-Mobile equipment upgrades at 9605 Royalton Road in Amanda.

  • A permit for $5,000 to Branham Sign Company for a mugshot sign at 111 S. Main St. in Pleasantville.

  • A permit for $2,900 to Summit Fire & Security for a hood suppression system at the Pleasantville Community Center at 207 W. Columbus St. in Pleasantville.

  • The planning department also issued a permit to Eversole Builders for a new building at the Eversole Business Park at 1171-85 Victor Road NW in Lancaster. The price of the project was not listed.
