HOOKED ‘EM: Wyoming transfer WR Isaiah Neyor signs with Texas

Texas made quite the splash on Thursday.

The Longhorns brought in another transfer portal addition, this time at a primary position of need. Former Wyoming wide receiver Isaiah Neyor announced via Twitter that he has signed with Texas.

Neyor entered the transfer portal on Dec. 22, then announced his commitment to Tennessee on Jan. 9. He continued to take visits to a few campuses, such as Ole Miss and Texas, but the Longhorns were ultimately able to close the deal.

In 13 games with Wyoming last season, Neyor brought in 44 receptions for 878 yards and 12 touchdowns.

Steve Sarkisian and his staff continue to make positive strides on the recruiting trail. The Longhorns have now added a quarterback (Quinn Ewers), a tight end (Jahleel Billingsley), and a wide receiver (Neyor) via the transfer portal to significantly improve their offense next season.
