Meet the pint-sized prince, RuPaul, being fostered at Melissa’s Second Chances. He may be the size of a designer heel, but his need for attention is at least twice his physical size. You’ll find him practicing his runway walk wherever you are. And treats? Yes, he expects those. He’s ready to sashay away from foster care and toward your home.

Breed: Pit bull terrier mix
Age: 10 years old
This handsome man is Rick. He’s an older gentleman waiting for a place to call home for the rest of his life. He was found as a stray, and unfortunately no one came to claim him. However, he has settled in at Wayside Waifs and enjoys going on walks with his staff and volunteer friends.
He’s a chill, super friendly guy. He loves everyone, and loves getting pets. He loves to explore, and is pretty happy to go on leisurely strolls. He’s smart,. too. He already knows “sit” and “shake.” He also appears to be house-trained. He’s been on field trips and enjoys riding in the car, going to the park and looking at the fish in PetSmart. Squash
Breed: Domestic shorthair mix/tabby
Age: 2 years old
This lovely lady came to Wayside Waifs after she was initially found as a stray, and the finders could not keep her. We’ve learned a lot about Squash since her stay with us. One of the most important things to note is that she prefers to be the only animal in the home.
She has a cute voice and she loves to chat with you. She’s social, friendly and enjoys staying by your side. She likes watching videos, so you have someone to Netflix and chill with. She does like to engage her mind with mentally stimulating activities, so keep her busy. Not to mention, she loves treats.
