Hopewell event 'Third Thursdays:' Singer Kyle Davis, vendors, food trucks, kid's zone, yoga

HOPEWELL — "Third Thursdays" kicks off in Downtown Hopewell this week. Adults and children are invited to spend the next four Thursday evenings in Downtown Hopewell at the summer street festivals. Dogs on leashes are welcome to tag along.

The event organized by Hopewell Downtown Partnership [HDP] is held in the Downtown Historic District from 5 - 8 p.m. on the third Thursday in June, July, August and September. The block parties include live bands, libations, food trucks, kid’s activities and vendors.

"It's a great place to spend time with the kids, visit with neighbors, network with the professional community, and check out new businesses," Heather Lyne, HDP Executive Director said. "We have incorporated new attractions into our events this summer including selfie stations and beers on tap via Kombi Kegs, a mobile bar run out of a VW bus."

"Third Thursdays consistently features a variety of 40 - 50 vendors," Lyne said. "Purchase everything from ice cream to soul food to artisan cookies, popcorn and pastries."

The "Third Thursdays" lineup includes:

  • June 16 — Kyle Davis

  • July 21 — Kurt Crandall Band

  • August 18 — U&I Plus Latin Band

  • September 15 — Magnolia
