Two El Paso high school baseball players have been named to the Texas High School Baseball Coaches Association All-State team.

Eastwood's Isaac Herrera was named to the second team in Class 6A after hitting .422 with 11 doubles and 33 RBI. He also went 6-3 on the mound with a 3.05 ERA.

"To be named All-State means a great deal," Herrera said. "There are many great players in the state of Texas and it's an honor. I'm grateful for my teammates and coaches. We accomplished a great deal my senior year and I'm proud of that."

In Class 5A, Horizon's Barry Miller, Jr., was named to the third team as a pitcher. Miller, who will be a senior next season, was one of El Paso's top pitchers with an 8-3 record, 130 strikeouts in 68.2 innings and allowed 46 hits.
