Horry County Fire Rescue works to contain four-acre fire in Nichols-area
HORRY COUNTY, S.C. (WBTW) —Horry County Fire Rescue was dispatched to four-acre fire in the area of M W Stroud Road and Hardwick Road in the Nichols area.
Fire officials were dispatched to the fire at about 7:14 p.m., and the South Carolina Forestry Commission is assisting with a plow as firefighters work to contain the fire, HCFR said.
No structures are threatened at this time and people may see smoke in the area for an extended amount of time, HCFR said.
