Horse dies after being freed from Cobb County creek
A horse died after falling into a creek in Powder Springs on Friday morning.
Cobb County firefighters some horse owners found their pet Whiskey stuck in an eight feet deep creek.

Large Animal Response Group, a group of horse owners who specialize in rescuing animals in Douglas, Paulding and Cobb counties, came to the scene and were able to get Whiskey out of the creek without any extra pain or injuries.
While crews were able to give Whiskey the best chance of surviving, the horse died from the injuries.
