Horseless Author Completes Show-Jumping Course to Celebrate New Book During COVID-19 Lockdown

In lieu of the traditional book party, children’s author Polly Faber celebrated the launch of her new book with an amusing “show jumping” performance on her imaginary horse Walnuts in her London garden during the coronavirus lockdown.

Faber took to her garden, with husband Andy filming and providing commentary, to complete a makeshift equestrian course on her imaginary horse.

Faber’s latest book, Prima Donna Pony, was published on Thursday, April 2.

“Biscuits eaten, it was time for some serious show jumping to celebrate publication of #PrimaDonnaPony,” Faber wrote on Twitter.
