Hosea Helps seeks turkey donations to feed families in need on Thanksgiving

Hosea Helps is accepting food donations at its annual Great Turkey Drop-off event today.

The Atlanta nonprofit organization is seeking donations of over 4,000 turkeys that will be distributed to families in need for Thanksgiving.

Donations can be made at the Hosea Helps headquarters, located at 2545 Forrest Hills Drive SW in Atlanta, on Nov. 10 between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m.

Hosea Helps, as it is now known, is run by Hosea’s daughter, Elisabeth Omilami, and continues to be one of Atlanta’s leading charities, providing services to over 51,000 people annually.

Hosea Helps provides hot meals, haircuts, clothing, and other services for those in need on Thanksgiving, Christmas, Martin Luther King Jr. Day and Easter Sunday each year.
