Hot diggity dog! The Oscar Mayer Wienermobile will visit 3 Mississippi Coast cities.

One of the biggest hot dogs in the nation is headed to Mississippi for Cruisin’ the Coast. This one, it turns out, is motorized.

One of Oscar Mayer’s six hot-dog shaped “Wienermobiles” will be making a few stops on the MS Coast during Cruisin’ the Coast.

Two of the Wienermobile’s stops will be at Cruisin’ the Coast venues in Pass Christian and Gulfport, but if you want to avoid the Cruisin’ the Coast traffic the Wienermobile will also be making stops at Walmart Superstores in Gulfport and Biloxi.

The Oscar Mayer Wienermobile has been an American icon since 1936 and is used to advertise and promote Oscar Mayer’s products — namely the hot dogs it’s named for.

The Wienermobile was briefly renamed the “Frankmobile” this summer in honor of the brand’s 100% beef franks and their new recipe but the name didn’t stick as Oscar Mayer announced Sept. 20 that the name would change back to Wienermobile.
