Pepe Le Pew, a 1.5-year-old spayed female, is among the cats available for adoption at the Tuscarawas County Humane Society Animal Shelter, 1432 Tall Timber Road NE in New Philadelphia. She has been in the shelter for more than one year. Pepe Le Pew is a reserved girl that takes time to warm up to people and prefers to be the one to initiate affection. She does well with the cats in her adoption room.

Red, an 8.5-year-old spayed female, is available at the Tuscarawas County Humane Society Animal Shelter. She has been in the shelter for more than 160. Red has not received any applications. Red came in through the humane officer after living in deplorable conditions. Red is a couch potato kind of dog that would enjoy snuggling with her person. She is a sweet girl that gets overlooked in her kennel. Adoption hours at the shelter are 1 to 4 p.m. Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday, and 1 to 7 p.m. Tuesday.
