A Heat Advisory has been issued for Auglaize, Butler, Darke, Mercer, Miami, Montgomery, Preble, Shelby and Warren Counties in Ohio, and Union and Wayne Counties in Indiana Tuesday from 1 p.m. until 9 p.m.

DETAILED FORECAST:

TONIGHT: Dry conditions continue this evening and tonight says Storm Center 7 Meteorologist Austin Chaney. Clouds will increase through the night followed by a chance for thunderstorms Tuesday morning. Warm and muggy with lows falling into the lower 70s.

TUESDAY: Showers and thunderstorms are possible in the morning, followed by a break from mid-morning through mid-afternoon. Chaney says storms may redevelop late Tuesday afternoon into Tuesday night and could be strong to severe with damaging winds the greatest threat.

Otherwise, it will be partly sunny and hot with highs in the lower 90s with heat indices above 100.


WEDNESDAY: Another round of showers and storms are possible in the morning with more redeveloping during the afternoon. These storms may be strong. It will be hot and humid with highs around 90 and heat index values around 100.

THURSDAY: Warm and muggy with highs in the mid 80s and another chance for showers and thunderstorms.

FRIDAY: Partly sunny with highs in the mid 80s. A few more showers and storms are possible.

SATURDAY: Partly sunny skies with some cooler temperatures and lower humidity, highs in the low to mid 80s.

SUNDAY: Mostly sunny and highs in the mid 80s.

MONDAY: Mostly sunny and warmer with highs in the upper 80s.
