Rock ‘n’ Roll: Former Eagles guitarist Don Felder’s latest solo album “American Rock ‘n’ Roll” is packed with special guests like Guns N' Roses guitarist Slash, Fleetwood Mac drummer Mick Fleetwood, Grateful Dead guitarist Bob Weir and more. It’s no surprise Felder recorded such an album, considering he played a role in the edgier selections of the Eagles’ catalog.

Record store show: Local desert rock band Dali’s Llama will perform at Dale’s Records on Friday night. Formed by guitarist and vocalist Zach Huskey and his wife Erica in 1993, they’ve released 13 albums and performed with other local groups such as The Hellions, Fatso Jetson and more.

Alternative: During the '90s, Everclear frontman Alex Alexakis turned his childhood trauma and struggles with drug addiction into catchy, poppy songs. Songs like “Heroin Girl,” “I Will Buy You A New Life” and “Father of Mine” resonated with younger audiences in the ‘90s and the band sold millions of records.
Although Alexakis was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis in 2019, Everclear continues to perform around the country, and is including Pappy and Harriet’s in Pioneertown on a brief U.S. tour. Rock band Wheatus, known for their 2000 hit “Teenage Dirtbag,” will also perform.
