’90s pop: Chances are you've been in a bar that has a karaoke night and heard a duo or trio of women sing a song called "Hold On" by Wilson Phillips, which was a big hit when it was released in 1990.

Each member of Wilson Phillips comes from a rock 'n' roll legacy. Chynna Phillips is the daughter of The Mamas and the Papas members John and Michelle Phillips, and Carnie and Wendy Wilson are the daughters of The Beach Boys member Brian Wilson. The trio all grew up together as friends and like their parents, have their own way of performing vocal harmonies in their music.

Magic: You may recognize magician Paul Draper. He's been featured on TV shows such as "Hell's Kitchen," "Pawn Stars," "House Hunters" and more. He's also performed with David Copperfield and Teller of Penn and Teller. Draper is also considered to be an expert on matters of magical history and human consciousness.

Draper will perform multiple shows between Thursday and Saturday at Marvyn's Magic Theater.

Norteño: Ramón Ayala, known as "The King of the Accordion" has been entertaining audiences for almost 40 years. The legendary Norteño performer was also one half of the duo Los Relámpagos del Norte until they split in 1971. He started Los Bravos del Norte, which has released over 100 albums.

Ayala will receive quite the welcome on Friday when he performs at Spotlight 29 Casino.

Indie: Norwegian singer-songwriter Sondre Lerche has an expansive musical repertoire and plays indie-rock, bossa nova and 1960s pop bands such as The Beatles, The Beach Boys and more. He's released eight albums and has shared stages with Elvis Costello, a-ha and more.

Mariachi punk: Los Angeles punk band The Bronx plays loud raucous music, but the group also enjoys performing as a Mariachi band known as Mariachi El Bronx. The bandmates have released three albums of Mariachi music, and have collaborated with Schooly D on the "Aqua Teen Hunger Force" title song "Aqua Something You Know Whatever Theme."
