The median sales price for a single-family home sold in Broome County during May was $146,500. That's an increase of 8.5% compared with May 2021, according to a USA TODAY Network localized analysis generated with data from Realtor.com.
May prices are up from $138,191 the previous month.
The number of houses sold fell by 26.7% from a year earlier. A total of 110 houses were sold countywide during May. During the same period a year earlier, 150 single-family homes were sold.
