It will be a hot and steamy Saturday across Central Florida.
Area beaches will see high temperatures in the upper 80s

Inland, temperatures will reach highs in the low-to-mid 90s.
Across Central Florida, the heat index will reach near 100 degrees.

Scattered showers and isolated storms will move east to west across Central Florida and will start early on Saturday.
Our best chance of rain and storms will occur around noon.

The tropics are still very quiet. Later this weekend a tropical wave will come off the coast of Africa with the possibility of gradual development during next week. There’s a 20% chance of development over the next five days.
