Hot weather helping Chile Peppers in Pueblo

Chile Pepper season is starting to heat up in Pueblo so we went to the Mesa, east of town to get a taste of the harvest season ahead. At Milburger Farms they told us the recent weather has been good for Pueblo's famous crop. The record heat is beneficial for the peppers and the afternoon storms have been making a difference. You can expect to see Pueblo peppers being roasted and in grocery stores across Colorado within the next three weeks with the big chile fest in the fall, to celebrate this year's crop.
