Here are the hours for Sioux Falls grocery stores open on Christmas Eve or Christmas Day

'Tis the season for emergency grocery store runs.

As the holidays gear up, it's only natural for a few items to get lost in the shuffle during your pre-Christmas shopping trips.

If you're in need of some last-minute items on the big day, a couple Sioux Falls area stores have you covered.

Other grocery stores and retailers — such as Hy-Vee, Walmart, Sam's Club, Costco, Target and Aldi — will be closed on Christmas Day.

To get your shopping done in the nick of time, here are the Christmas Eve hours for Sioux Falls grocery stores and retailers:

Grocery stores open on Christmas Eve:

Aldi: Open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at all Sioux Falls stores.

Costco: Open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Dollar General: 12th Street and Kiwanis Avenue store is open from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Christmas Eve while other Sioux Falls stores are open until 10 p.m. Christmas Eve.

Fareway: Open from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. at all Sioux Falls area stores. The store will be closed Christmas Day and the following Sunday.

Franklin Food Market: Open 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Christmas Eve. Open on Christmas Day from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Hy-Vee: Open from 6 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Look's Marketplace: Open 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Lewis Family Drug: Stores open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Christmas Eve. Lewis Family Drug at 37th Street and Minnesota will be open from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Christmas Day.

Pomegranate Market: Open 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Sam's Club: Open from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m.

Sioux Falls Co-op: Open 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Sunshine Foods: Open 6 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Target: 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. for both Sioux Falls locations

Walgreens: Stores are open regular hours on Christmas Eve, hours vary by location. Stores are open 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Christmas Day.

Walmart: 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. for all Sioux Falls locations.
