Which house has the best Christmas lights in the Charlotte area?
Driving around the city looking for the best holiday lights and decorations is not an adventure unique to the Charlotte area — but it is one that our community has seemingly perfected.
Every year, our team fans out across the city, looking for the twinkling lights, inflatable Santas and other holiday cheer.
Of course, there are all the regular joyful commercial spots — including Carowinds, Daniel Stowe, Speedway Christmas and more.
And every year, we are on a mission to find for the best residential lights display (check out last year’s lights winner for inspiration!) — and we need your help.
HOW TO HELP: Send us all the holiday cheer that you or your neighbors have to offer — Santa’s sleigh, Christmas trees, North Pole-influenced decor. The homes can be anywhere in the greater Charlotte area: Belmont, Fort Mill, Gastonia, Lake Norman, Lake Wylie, Matthews, McAdenville, Mint Hill, Rock Hill ... you get the point!
Email us a photo of the lights along with the address of the home: charlottefive@charlottefive.com.
Then we’ll ask you to vote for your favorite home decorated with Christmas lights and we’ll publish the results throughout the holiday season.
