House Dems find ‘smoking gun’ in Sondland testimony while Republicans rip him
Wednesday marked the fourth day of public hearings in the impeachment inquiry into President Trump. Yahoo News asked Congress members on both sides of the aisle to weigh in on the testimony of Gordon Sondland, U.S. ambassador to the EU, who said, “If you say it was a quid pro quo … the answer is yes.” House Democrats considered Sondland’s testimony a “game changer,” while House Republicans questioned the accuracy of his testimony.
