Household Hazardous Waste event on June 18
Jun. 6—Keep Cobb Beautiful will have their annual Household Hazardous Waste event on June 18 from 9 a.m. to noon at Jim R. Miller Park, 2245 Callaway Road in Marietta.
Accepted items are mercury, aerosols, batteries, adhesives, flammables, photo chemicals, lawn care products, fluorescent light bulbs, hobby and artist supplies, paint and paint related products, swimming pool chemicals, pesticides, insecticides, antifreeze, cleaners and used motor oil. There is a limit of 10 gallons of paint per vehicle.
Items not accepted are ammunition, pharmaceuticals, agricultural waste, radioactive materials, biohazardous waste and biomedical waste.
