Home prices rise

From Jan. 31, 2020 to Jan. 31, 2021, the median sales price of a home in 37216 was $360,000. By Jan. 31, 2022, that price rose to $445,000.

Homes sell quickly

Homes in 37216 spent an average of 23 days on the market during the period Jan. 31, 2020-Jan. 31, 2021. The following year during the same time period, homes spent an average of 26 days on the market.

Closings tick up

Despite the rise in home prices, home buyers closed on 702 homes from Jan. 31, 2021-Jan. 31, 2022. That’s up from 690 closings the previous year. Current inventory is 34 homes.
