Housing market spotlight: See the trends in 37010 in Robertson County

This week we go about 43 miles northwest of Nashville to Adams, ZIP code, 37010, in Robertson County. The city of Adams is found off 1-24 West and sits between Clarksville about 20 miles to its west and Springfield about 12 miles to its southeast.

Perhaps the city is most well-known for its folklore about the hauntings of the Bell family in the 1800s and the Bell Witch Cave is now a tourist destination. Attractions include Port Royal State Historic Park and canoe rentals on the Red River.

Home prices rise

Median sales price from mid-March 2022 until now is $400,000. During the same time period the prior year, median sales price was $383,500.

Homes move quickly

Homes spent about 30 days on the market this past year, similar to the mid-March 2021-mid-March 2022 time period of 29 days on the market.

Closings drop

Home buyers closed on 61 homes during mid-March 2022 until now. That’s down from 106 closings during the same time period the year prior. Current inventory is 12 homes.
