ROSSVIEW BASEBALL: Houston advances to state after 7-1 win over Hawks

Rossview came into Saturday's game with only one loss but couldn't penetrate Houston's defense. The Mustangs' Zach Page took a shot from distance that was initially stopped by Rossview's goalkeeper but the ball slipped through his arms and slowly rolled into the back of the net for the opening volley.

Hays Adams and Noah Cooper scored within eight minutes of each other late in the first half as Houston held a 3-0 halftime lead.

Rossview (13-2-1) had more energy to start the second half but Page scored his second goal 10 minutes into the second half for a 4-0 lead. Frustration set in for the Hawks as Rossview managed just three shots on goal for the remainder of the game.
