Houston vs. NKU: Television and live stream for NCAA Tournament first-round game

The Northern Kentucky University men’s basketball team will play Houston in the first round of the NCAA Tournament Thursday at the Legacy Arena in Birmingham, Ala.

Tipoff time is 9:20 p.m. Eastern time. It will be the second game of the evening session following Iowa vs. Auburn at 6:50 p.m.

The NKU game will be on broadcast cable TV on TNT. Norse fans will have a chance to hear some “Onions!” as the broadcast crew there will be Jim Nantz, Bill Raftery, Grant Hill and Tracy Wolfson.

What channels will NCAA Tournament games be on?

TNT is one of the four broadcast cable networks airing the tournament, including CBS, TBS and truTV.

Will the NCAA Tournament games be streaming?

Those networks will be available to stream on any service that offers them, such as Hulu+ Live, fuboTV, Sling TV and YouTubeTV.

All March Madness games airing on CBS will be available to stream simultaneously with the Paramount+ premium tier subscription. The NCAA will stream games on March Madness Live.
