HoYoverse, the developer behind smash-hit gacha games like Genshin Impact and Honkai: Star Rail, have announced its lineup for the upcoming gamescom 2023 festival in Cologne, Germany this August.

From 23 to 27 August, HoYoverse will host live stage performances, offline contests, merchandise sales, and hands-on gameplay experiences for Genshin Impact and Honkai: Star Rail as well as its long-running title Honkai Impact 3rd and upcoming game Zenless Zone Zero.

HoYoverse's Genshin Impact booth will be headlined by the 'Journey Through the Elements' fan event, where visitors can explore the game's four released nations — namely Mondstadt, Liyue, Inazuma, and Sumeru — as well as the upcoming fifth region of Fontaine.

Each nation's display will feature representations of their respective elements as well as recreations of their iconic landmarks and inhabitants. There will also be stage shows, musical performances, and activities where fans can participate to earn rewards.

Among the musical performances for the Genshin Impact booth will be a live performance by the student orchestra of Essen University, Essener Studentenorchester, on 26 August.

The booth for Honkai: Star Rail, which officially released back in April, will be based on the Xianzhou Luofu worldship seen in the game. Pom-Pom, the game's beloved mascot and conductor of the titular Astral Express, will also be there to interact with fans.

Honkai: Star Rail players can also try out a hands-on demo of the game's upcoming PlayStation 5 version, which is set to be released in the fourth quarter of this year.

Honkai Impact 3rd, HoYoverse's enduring action title which launced in 2016, will also make its Gamescom debut this year. The Honkai Impact 3rd booth will follow a summer theme with cosplayers of fan-favourite characters greeting visitors in summer outfits.

Meanwhile, Zenless Zone Zero, HoYoverse's upcoming action RPG, will also make its Gamescom debut as it heads towards its official release date. The main stage will be based on the Random Play video store of the protagonists. Visitors will be able to try out the game, win bountiful souvenirs, interreact with cosplayers.

Fans of HoYoverse games can visit the booths for Genshin Impact, Honkai: Star Rail, Honkai Impact 3rd, and Zenless Zone Zero in Hall 6, B030 at Gamescom 2023.

If you're unable to go to gamescom this year, don't fret! There will be many other live fan events for HoYoverse games this year. HoYoFest, HoYoverse's yearly fan festival celebrating its games and their communities, will be hosted all across the world this year.

In Southeast Asia, HoYoFest will be hosted in Singapore, Malaysia, the Philippines, Vietnam, Indonesia, and Thailand from August to November.

Among the HoYoverse games being celebrated this year are Genshin Impact, Honkai: Star Rail, Honkai Impact 3rd, and Tears of Themis!
