HS INDOOR TRACK: Kravitz shines at first Run at The Rec of season
Jan. 29—Colin Kravitz earned three individual wins as he swept the sprint events at the first Run at The Rec indoor track and field meet Friday at Clarks Summit University.
The North Pocono senior, who runs unattached in the indoor season and is a Boston College commit, won the 55-meter dash (6.69), the 400 (53.45), and the 200 (24.74) in the meet that attracted varsity and junior varsity athletes from District 2, District 4, and District 11.
Riverside's Nathan Oliphant won the 55 hurdles (8.12), Scranton's Brian McCormack won the 1,600 (4:41.20), and Valley View's Tom Fiorelli won the shot put (45 feet, 10 inches) to highlight the other Lackawanna Track Conference athletes who won an event.
In the girls meet, Susquehanna's Tatum Norris won the 55 (7.52), Montrose's Chloe Diaz won the 55 hurdles (9.35), Forest City's Kate Korty, who runs unattached, won the 800 (2:30.60), Lakeland's Caroline McAndrew won the shot put (32 feet,
8 inches), and Delaware Valley's Nicole Musselwhite won the high jump (4-8).
