HS VOLLEYBALL: Schuylkill League, District 11 unveil all-star teams
Nov. 23—Schuylkill League champion Pine Grove had five selected to the Division I squad as the Schuylkill League Volleyball Coaches announced their division all-star teams.
Pine Grove senior Kailen Felty and Jim Thorpe junior Maggy Hallihan were named Co-Players of the Year in Division I.
Nativity senior Emma Bolich was crowned Division II Player of the Year, while Panther Valley junior Riley McArdle was named Division III Player of the Year.
District 11 Class A champion Marian had a total of four players selected to the Division III all-star team.

Marian's Julia Meiss was selected as the Class A Player of the Year, while teammates Megan Paisley and Abbey Kluck both received first-team all-star selections as the District 11 coaches' all-star squads were recently announced.
Nativity's Emma Bolich and Arieanna Sherman also received first-team Class A selections, along with Tri-Valley's Kamryn Klinger and Mahanoy Area's Caylin Blashock.
The Schuylkill League had seven players named to the nine-player Class AA first team. Jim Thorpe had three selections in middle hitter Brianna Snisky, outside hitter Brooke Mitzen and setter Maggy Hallihan. Pine Grove was represented by middle hitters Domani Collazo and Kailen Felty, while Panther Valley outside hitter Riley McArdle and setter Morgan Orsulak were also first-team picks.
Pottsville's Eily Painter was selected to the Class 3A first team. The District 11 coaches did not pick a Player of the Year in Class AA or Class 3A.
