Huber Heights seek suspect vehicle that hit, killed pedestrian
Dec. 15—Police are asking for the public's help to identify a suspect vehicle that hit and killed a Dayton man last week near the Huber Heights library.
Huber Heights police responded early Dec. 7 to an unconscious man on the ground by an RTA bus stop near the Dayton Metro Library on Brandt Pike.
When officers arrived, the vehicle was not on the scene.
The man was taken to Miami Valley Hospital, where he died the next day. Montgomery County Coroner Dr. Kent Harshbarger identified him as 36-year-old Joseph Marshall.
Police determined the suspect vehicle in the deadly hit-and-run is a newer model silver Honda CR-V through evidence collected at the scene and video from area businesses, said Sgt. Josh Fosnight. The suspect vehicle should have damage to the front right corner, the passenger side and the passenger side mirror from the crash.
