Hudson chiropractor receives Michigan Association of Chiropractors' 2022 President’s Award

DETROIT — A Hudson chiropractor received the 2022 President's Award at the Michigan Association of Chiropractors' annual convention Sept. 23-25 in Detroit.

Dan Spencer, who is president of the Contact for Health Chiropractic Centers in Hudson and Reading, was presented the award during the convention's plenary session Sept. 23.The President's Award is given annually to an individual selected by the organization’s president in recognition of outstanding service to the MAC and the profession at large. MAC President Lisa Olszewski of Chelsea presented the plaque.

“Dr. Spencer has done so much for our profession, both here and nationally," Olszewski said in a news release. "He is a tireless warrior for chiropractic and is so deserving of this honor.”

Spencer served as president of the MAC in 2011-12 and currently serves as the legal committee chair for the organization. In 2012, Spencer was awarded Chiropractor of the Year by the MAC. Nationally, he is the current immediate past president of ChiroCongress and was recently elected as chair of the Chiropractic Summit.
