Fundraising efforts are underway to install lighting at the tennis and pickleball courts at Barlow Farm Park.

The Hudson pickleball and tennis courts at Barlow Farm Park, unveiled in October 2022, had originally been designed with plans for court lighting. However, budget constraints at the time prevented their installation.

The Hudson Community Foundation, recognizing the increased demand of the courts, have helped launch a public fundraising campaign to bring the vision of illuminated courts to fruition. The lights, featuring tournament-quality LED technology, will not only extend playing hours but enhance the overall experience for players and spectators alike. The goal is to raise $500,000.

Those wishing to contribute to the costs of installing lighting at the Barlow Farm Park tennis and pickleball courts have several options from purchasing a brick to being included on a donor wall.

The project offers various donor recognition levels geared for individuals and groups. This includes the sales of bricks, plaques on a bench, and recognition on a donor wall. Bricks range from $250 to $1,000, depending on the size. Bench plaques are $2,500 and $5,000. Donations opportunities between $5,000 and $100,000 are available for a recognition on the donor wall.
