Members of the League of Women Voters of Hudson celebrate the 100th anniversary of the start of the local organization at the Hudson Gazebo.

On Feb. 9, the Hudson chapter of the League of Women Voters is inviting residents to a discussion about how climate change is impacting Hudson.

The conversation will take place from 7 to 8:30 p.m. in the Hudson High School media center located at 2500 Hudson Aurora Road. All Hudson residents are invited, no reservations are required.

Topics will include:

  • Small table discussions to share what climate related changes are evident in the city and how residents are reacting;

  • What other Hudsonites view as climate and sustainability concerns;

  • How community members are responding to the climate crisis;

  • what greenhouse gas emissions studies and climate action plans are and how they can be used to economically and environmentally benefit communities.

Signage and volunteers will direct participants to the Media Center on the second floor of the high school.

Attendees are instructed to use entrance E on the northeast side of the high school by the auditorium. An elevator will be available.

Any questions about the meeting can be directed to League President Tracey Mackay at presidentlwvhudson@gmail.com.
