Going on its sixth year, the Hudson Trike & Bike was started by the Hudson Velo Club, a local road cycling club, as a way to raise money for the larger event, Velosano, which funds life-saving cancer research at the Cleveland Clinic.

Trike & Bike benefiting VeloSano is a series of community-organized bike rides for children ages 3-12. Trike & Bike provides children with an opportunity to experience what it feels like to give back to others, by challenging them to raise funds for pediatric cancer research at Cleveland Clinic Children’s. One hundred percent of every dollar that participants raise supports the cause.

This year‘s event takes place on Saturday, Aug. 6, on a one-mile neighborhood loop in Hudson Park Estates. There is also a secure tot lot for the youngest riders to safely participate.

Presenting sponsor Cedar Point will give the first 60 registrants of each ride a Cedar Point ticket. This ride has now grown into eight regional rides around Cleveland which have raised more than $600,000.
