'Huge Backup' at LAX as Suspicious Vehicle Leads to Closures

Los Angeles Airport said some flights were delayed and parts of the airport were forced to close on June 22 as police investigated a “suspicious vehicle” that was left unattended.

Traffic into LAX was diverted to the lower arrivals area, while authorities, including the LAPD’s Bomb Squad, investigated the truck, according to the airport.

This footage was by Ivan Gutierrez, who said there was a “huge” backup of travelers inside the airport.
