This Huge "Stranger Things" Mistake Could’ve Ruined Everything in Season 3

Stranger Things is pretty good about making sure that every easter egg and reference on the show works out with the current timeline, however, there's always a chance that something might slip through the cracks. Unfortunately, one big thing in the new season didn't match up, which could've caused some trouble if it was really 1985. But, luckily for our characters, they're able to get away with a little bit of error and still save the world.

Joyce and Hopper had to open the safe in the Russian liar in order to get the two keys and close the portal to the Upside Down. Unfortunately, they didn't know the code to open the safe and needed to figure out the number from Planck's constant in order to do so.

Fortunately, Suzie knew the number and was able to give it to them after a fun little sing-along, but there was actually a mistake with the number she gave.

Technically, Suzie wasn't wrong as the number 6.62607004 is Planck's constant. However, the number was completely different in 1985 and didn't change into that one until 2014. According to ScreenRant, the actual number for Planck's constant in 1985 was 6.626176.

While the code did work and they did manage to close the portal (with some losses along the way), it's still a little thing that wouldn't have worked if these characters were real and in 1985. Thankfully, everything was able to work out and hopefully we'll get to see more of Suzie in the next season!
