How a Hughson mother and her 2 daughters are adapting to distance learning in elementary school

Families across Northern California have had to deal with the sudden changes in school due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Before the outbreak, Lily Hutsell’s current first-grade classroom wasn't a classroom at all, it was her sister Addison’s bedroom. Normally, Lily would be going to school at Lucas Elementary in Ceres, but both she and her preschool-aged sister have to go to school remotely. The girls have different online curriculums, which also leads to different kinds of schedules. Take a look at the video above to see how the two girls and their mom have learned to adapt to the new distance learning model.
