Humanitarian tent city spreads after Turkey quake

STORY: Footage shows men, women and children sheltering in white tents, whilst others are by the fire keeping warm in the bitter winter weather.

"Now we are staying in these tents, but we do not know how long it can continue. Aftershocks are still happening. We are really devastated, I can't find the words to say anymore," said quake survivor Bayram Calur.

Turkey's AFAD said 5,775 buildings had been destroyed in Monday’s earthquake, and 20,426 people had been injured.
