Hundreds Evacuated Due to Fire in Salt Lake City

Hundreds of residents were evacuated as firefighters worked to contain a four-alarm fire at a construction site in Salt Lake City, Utah, overnight into Wednesday, October 26, local media reported.

Footage from the Salt Lake City Fire Department shows the fire burning near the Sugarmont Apartments in the northeast of the city.

No injuries were reported, according to local media. Hundreds of residents were evacuated from nearby apartment buildings, the report added.
