Hundreds prepare for Nevada County gravel bike race

Hundreds of people are expected to participate in Nevada County's Heart of Gold Gravel bike race. The first-ever race happened last year, and the county went ahead with bringing the event back. The race is set for Saturday at 8 a.m. “You're gonna see everything from Nevada City to the crest of the Sierras and back,” Nevada County Supervisor Hardy Bullock said. The race will start and finish at the Eric Rood Administration Center in Nevada City. There are two courses riders can take part in.
