Hungary again cancels three trains because of ‘large flow of passengers’
Hungary again cancels three trains because of ‘large flow of passengers’

Hungarian transport company canceled three trains to Ukraine due to "a large flow of passengers" and "prolonged border checks," Ukraine’s railway operator, Ukrzaliznytsia, said on Telegram on Aug. 19.

Hungarian railways canceled the following train routes:

  • No. 6284 from Debrecen to Mukachevo;

  • No. 33 from Mukachevo to Budapest;

  • No. 6285 from Zahony to Chop.

This is not the first time the Hungarian carrier has canceled routes in the last month, Ukrzaliznytsia added, apologizing to passengers who are still waiting for their opportunity to enter or leave Ukraine.
