How Hunter Renfrow's contract with Las Vegas Raiders compares to former Clemson football receivers

Hunter Renfrow, a former college football walk-on, has the third-highest salary among eight former Clemson football wide receivers in the NFL.

Renfrow signed a two-year extension worth $32 million with the Las Vegas Raiders. The deal, which was announced Friday, includes $21 million in guarantees and will keep him under contract through the 2024 season. He was in the final year of a rookie contract worth $2.54 million.

Renfrow was listed this week by NFLPA as one of the league's rising stars.

Renfrow had 103 catches for 1,038 yards and nine touchdowns last season in earning a Pro Bowl selection. He became the Raiders' third player in team history with 90 catches, joining NFL Hall of Famers Tim Brown and Jerry Rice. Renfrow had 2,133 yards and 15 touchdowns at Clemson from 2015-18. The Myrtle Beach native was a fifth-round draft pick by the Raiders.

His numbers stack up well with a couple of other former Clemson players who have recently hit on massive paydays, according to Spotrac.com. DeAndre Hopkins of the Arizona Cardinals is on a two-year contract worth $54.5 million. Mike Williams of the Los Angeles Chargers in March signed a three-year deal worth $60 million.

Justyn Ross, who went undrafted this year but signed with the Kansas City Chiefs, signed a three-year contract worth $2.56 million.
