Power restored for customers in Hazel Green near Tennessee State Line

HAZEL GREEN, Ala. (WHNT) — A Huntsville Utilities (HU) spokesperson says crews have restored power for customers in Hazel Green on Saturday.

According to HU, the outage affected customers near the Tennessee state line south of Quick Joe Road and from Butter and Egg Road east to Greenville Pike.

News 19 received word of the outage at 7:30 p.m. Power was restored for customers in the area as of 8:30 p.m.

Officials say crews are still in the area working. Anyone still without power should call (256)-535-4448.
