The presence of so-called "good Russians" in the Ukrainian media shows that there is a faction of them no longer aligned with Moscow, according to Ukrainian Defense Intelligence (HUR) spokesman, Andriy Yusov, in an interview with ISLND TV on August 27.

"There is a faction of Russians who are no longer entirely aligned with Russia. There's Alexander Nevzorov, who has apparently obtained a Ukrainian passport. There's also Mark Feigin, who also spends a lot of time here," Yusov said.

However, their presence in Ukraine's media landscape is not enough, and they should be actively engaged in supporting Ukraine against Russia, Yusov said.

"They should be engaging with the [Russian] audience, combating the propaganda of dictators, usurpers, and doing everything possible to influence their own country," he said.

On June 22, 2022, prominent Russian journalist and blogger Alexander Nevzorov showcased two Ukrainian passports on his YouTube channel, presumably implying that they belonged to him and his wife Lidia.

"Here's something extremely important," he said. However, Nevzorov did not reveal the interior of the passports or their ID pages. His citizenship status remains unknown.

Mark Feigin is a former lawyer who previously represented Russian opposition activists like Pussy Riot, and former Ukrainian MP Nadia Savchenko, who was detained in Russia.

Feigin also frequently appears on podcasts with the former strategic communications advisor to President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, Oleksii Arestovych.
