Apr. 27—NORWALK — The following construction projects are anticipated to affect highways in Huron County next week. All outlined work is weather permitting.

Ohio 13 railroad crossing repairs — Ohio 13 at the railroad tracks, between Alpha Road and Omega Road, will close Monday, May 1 for railroad crossing repairs. The detour route for northbound motorists will be Ohio 13 to U.S. 224, east on U.S. 224 to U.S. 250, west on U.S. 250 to Ohio 162, west on Ohio 162 to Ohio 13, and reverse for southbound motorists. Estimate completion: Friday, May 5, 2023

U.S. 20 roundabout resurfacing — NEW IMPACTS — The roundabout at the intersection of U.S. 20 and Ohio 601 will close Monday, May 1 for a resurfacing project. The detour route for motorists on U.S. 20 will be U.S. 20 west to Ohio 60, south on Ohio 60 to Ohio 18, west on Ohio 18 to U.S. 20, and reverse. The detour route for Ohio 601 motorists will be Ohio 601 south to Ohio 61, south on Ohio 61 to U.S. 250, east on U.S. 250 to Ohio 601, and reverse. Estimated completion: Monday, May 15, 2023

Ohio 99 bridge repairs — Ohio 99 at the structure over Seymour Creek, between Webb Settlement Road and Mead Road, is closed for 90 days for a bridge replacement project. The detour route for northbound motorists will Ohio SR 99 to U.S. 20, west on U.S. 20 to Ohio 269, north on Ohio 269 to Ohio 101, east on Ohio 101 to Ohio 2, east on Ohio 2 to Ohio 4, south on Ohio 4 to Ohio 99, and reverse for southbound motorists. Estimated completion: Sunday, July 23, 2023

Ohio 162 resurfacing — Ohio 162, from just west of Biglow Parkway to the Lorain County line, will have lane closures for a resurfacing project. Estimated completion: October 2023

Ohio 162 bridge repairs — Ohio 162 at the structure east of Ridge Road will have single-lane closures for a bridge repair project. Estimated completion: September 2023

U.S. 224 bridge repairs — U.S. 224 at the structure west of Ohio 61 will have single-lane closures for a bridge repair project. Estimated completion: September 2023

U.S. 224 storm sewer project — NEW IMPACTS — U.S. 224 in the city of Willard will have lane closures beginning Tuesday, May 9 for a storm sewer replacement project within city limits. Crews will be replacing the storm sewer under the U.S. 224 eastbound lane. Two-way traffic and local business access will be maintained throughout construction. Traffic will be restricted to 12-foot lanes, and traffic will be maintained by flaggers when necessary. Estimated completion of storm sewer work: June 2023; Estimated completion of entire project: August 2023

Ohio 601 resurfacing — NEW IMPACTS — Ohio 604, from Ohio 18 to Ohio 113, will have single-lane closures for a resurfacing project. Traffic will be maintained by flaggers. Estimated completion: October 2023
