Hurricane Forecast for Mexico as Tropical Storm Forms in East Pacific

Tropical Storm Roslyn formed in the Pacific west of Mexico on Thursday, October 20, and was expected to reach the coast with hurricane force in the days ahead, according to Mexico’s national weather service and the US National Hurricane Center.

The Mexican weather service said the storm was located about 280 km (174 miles) south of Zihuatanejo in Guerrero state and would likely bring heavy rain and high winds to parts of Guerrero, Michoacan, and Colima. Credit: CIRA via Storyful
