Will Hurricane Larry hit the U.S.? Here’s the latest forecast and tracking map

Although Hurricane Larry is still far out in the Atlantic, forecast models show the storm taking a right turn to the north before the U.S. coast, according to the National Hurricane Center.

Still, Larry should be monitored as it is expected to rapidly intensify into a major hurricane by early Saturday and the forecast only projects Larry’s potential path for the next five days. If it continues unimpeded by land, it could end up being one of the longest-duration tropical systems on record.
