Hurricane Ian: Lee County issues countywide boil-water notice Thursday
Lee County Utilities has issued a county-wide boil-water notice amid storm conditions and its impact.
The utility announced a system-wide boil water notice effective immediately for all customers due to Hurricane Ian impacts, county officials say.

All water used for drinking, cooking, making ice, brushing teeth or washing dishes must be boiled at a rolling boil for one minute.
As an alternative, residents may use bottled water.
Collier County hasn't issued related notices as of Wednesday evening.
